Michael is a licensed architect with 25 years of experience in project management and design. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated a varied and expansive portfolio of work, from healthcare centres and hospitality projects to commercial buildings and residential additions and renovations.

In his time with Vallee, Michael has been instrumental on residential projects, completing design work and site plan design for our stacked townhouse and mid-rise condominium developments. More recently, he has served as Project Manager on the construction of the new City of Thorold Fire Station No. 1, Waterford Public Library retrofits, upgrades and interior renovation, and Toyotetsu Canada’s office additions and plant expansion.

Michael’s passion for architectural design carries over into his home life, as he spends his time outside of work on design, renovation, and addition work for personal properties. Lesley Hutton-Rhora
Architectural Project Manager
Lesley is an Honours graduate of Fanshawe College’s Architectural Technology program, Registered Building Practitioner, and, most importantly, Vallee’s Architectural Project Manager. Prior to joining our team, she led a team of skilled drafting and administrative professionals and managed a network of trade partners on behalf of a large-volume home builder and developer and, in 2013, served as President of the St. Thomas & Elgin Homebuilder’s Association.

Since joining our team in 2021, she has provided comprehensive project management throughout the process, including schematic and detailed design for a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use development in support of official plan and/or zoning by-law amendments, site plan applications, and building permit applications.

Lesley’s expert knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and years of practical experience working with civil, structural, interior, and mechanical design partners are key components of our success in meeting the objectives of our clients. Arguably her most valuable asset, however, is Lesley’s ability to effectively manage stakeholder and client outreach and engagement, emphasising relationship and team-building initiatives every step of the way.

Outside of her professional life, Lesley is a proud (but busy) mom, attending and volunteering with her children’s sports and activities. At home, she can likely be found baking, crafting or, depending on the season, swimming.
