You will work closely with the firm’s Architectural department and Structural Engineering department, including our Director of Architecture, Professional Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians. Your day-today duties will include working on architectural projects and structural engineering projects, with a focus on buildings projects. This will include engagement through all project phases, including but not limited to: proposal preparation, schematic design and detailed design, preparation of construction documents including detailed drawings and specifications, construction inspection and report preparation, and contract administration assistance. This role will also include collaboration with team members as part of an integrated project team, and assisting with Ontario Building Code (OBC) reviews. You will work closely with the firm’s Structural Engineering department, including our Director of Structural Engineering, Professional Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians. Your day-to-day duties will include working on structural engineering projects with a focus on bridge and culvert projects. This will include tasks such as engineering design and drawings, shop drawing review, and assistance with construction inspection and contract administration. You will work closely with the firm’s Civil Engineering department, including our Director of Civil Engineering, Professional Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians. Your day-to-day duties will include working on civil engineering projects with a focus on site plans, subdivisions, and municipal infrastructure. This will include tasks such as engineering design and drawings for sewer, watermain, stormwater management, and road design.
