The reconstruction of East and Ann Streets in Delhi, saw the replacement of all sanitary, storm, and water infrastructure, as well as the sidewalk, curb, gutter, and asphalt surfaces. The Vallee municipal engineering team was awarded the contract by Norfolk County and was responsible for pre-design, detailed design, contract administration, and construction inspections.
The project included the removal of an old stone railway bridge that was not longer in service. The removal of the structure allowed for the improved alignment of East Street and eliminated the one lane through under the bridge that had impeded traffic along the road for years.
