Toyotetsu Canada (TTCA) contracted G. Douglas Vallee Limited to provide our design-build services on a large addition to the existing TTCA Canada facility in Simcoe.

This project was approached in three individual phases and included the addition of a new electrical room, additional die-storage, scrap area and press area. The structure is primarily structural steel framing with braced frames, portal frames and large span structural steel trusses, and the new press area included an extensive reinforced concrete press pit and tunnel system for the scrap metal conveyor system.
